Things To Make You Laugh... Or Cry!

DOGS' PET PEEVES - Shared By Kathy Davis

~ Yelling at me for barking...HEY, I'M A DOG!!

~ Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway?

~ Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose...stop it.

~ Blaming your farts on me...not funny...not funny at all.

~ Yelling at me for rubbing my bottom on your carpet. Why'd you buy carpet?

~ Dog sweaters. Helloooo...have you noticed the fur?

~ Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home.

~ Taking me to the vet for "the big snip," then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back.

~ The sleight of hand, fake-fetch-throw. You fooled a dog! What a proud moment for the top of the food chain.

FOSTER PUPPIES ~ by Paul Wenner

Hello little puppies, all huddled and scared,

Today you're in luck, because somebody cared.

You're going to "Foster", a new lease on life;

We've found you some "parents", a husband and wife!

They've promised to love you and give you good health,

For loving a puppy is better than wealth.

So,  run  little puppies, jump, bark and play...

You're getting so big now, we see it each day.

You'll find a new home soon;  two weeks - maybe three,

But nobody will love you any better than WE!

And someday, no matter, how far you may roam,

We hope you'll remember your Temporary Home!

Remember, if a dog was your teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

 Take naps.

 Stretch before rising.

 Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

 Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!
