This is the place for "Everything Kitties" - stories, tips, and pictures.

Fostering kittens is very rewarding.  The kitties don’t need constant attention like puppies and they don’t need to be taken outside to go to the bathroom because the litter box is there.  Kittens are also very entertaining!  We often turn off the TV and just watch the kittens play – we laugh a lot more that way, too.
There is nothing quite like having a kitten crawl onto your lap purring away!  Better yet – purring in "stereo" with one kitty by each ear!

Michelle's Story

I love fostering a full litter of kittens.  They’ve grown up together and love to play and snuggle together.  They are always entertaining to watch.  Recently, I fostered a litter of 4 kittens – Jay, Jack, Jed, and Jenny.  They were very scared and didn’t like people much.  I proceeded to give them lots of attention to earn their trust.  In the middle of their stay, I got sick and wasn’t able to handle them as much as I would have liked.  I gave them canned food to help earn their trust and, on the last day, each of them finally purred for the first time!  I was very worried about them still being scared and whether they would get adopted in NY, so I was thrilled to learn that ALL FOUR of them were adopted on the very first day!   How wonderful is that?!!
